

We have been busy designing and making hats from recyclable materials. At the end of this term we will be having a wearable arts show. You will see us wearing our special clothes. Check out our special photos!
Last week Rooms 1,2 and 3 went to the Happy Valley Landfill. We had a great day and learned lots of things about rubbish and recycling. We also went to Carlucci Land and played mini golf on the golf course.which is made out of recycled materials. In this photostory the children share all about their visit. It's Maori Language Week and today the whole school joined together in whanau groups to celebrate Te Reo. The children participated in lots of activities from waiata to weaving. Watch the boys doing the Haka in Room 4!
We are learning about our Creator God. We read in the bible how God created the Earth. We thanked God for all the things God made.
We did some amazing creation paintings,have a look at them on the video.
Last term we learnt all about folk dancing. We watched folk dancing from around the world on Youtube. Grace from Room 6 showed us some of her Irish dancing and told us about her dancing competitions in Australia. Watch us doing 'The Chicken Dance' at assembly.
